Amid Impasto of Colors

Based on the HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE Spring Summer 2026 collection, this exhibition presents pleated fabrics dyed in 44 colors selected from over 200 samples gathered firsthand with a paintbrush across Italy. The accumulation of colors is tied to specific scenes and memories that speaks of Italy’s natural and cultural landscapes, reflecting the living environment and the day-to-day minutiae of the people.
