Hinokicho Park

Hinokicho Park is located on the former garden of Azabu villa, a residence of the Mori family, which was the lord of the Hagi clan during the Edo period. The area was named for its large number of cypress trees (“hinoki” in Japanese), and the vast garden was famous for its panoramic view of Tokyo. Even after redevelopment, the garden retains its scenic beauty full of lush greenery.
People can relax at the circular garden by the pond, which occupies about 1.4 hectares, or on the lawn equipped with a playground for families. It is a place of inspiration for locals and visitors.
