Abstract Engine Inc. is implementing the “ART X JAPAN CONTEXT” program, a creator and entertainment startup creation initiative in the art field, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) from late July 2025 to March 2026. This program utilizes METI’s FY2024 Supplementary Budget “Creator and Entertainment Startup Creation Project Subsidy (Art Field)”. This program aims to create globally recognized artworks by combining cultural resources (products, technologies, knowledge, locations, etc.) held by companies and regional industries, thereby fostering internationally competitive artists and startups.
We are pleased to announce the final presentation and exhibition of artworks created by participating artist teams, blending Japanese identity with multiple cultures and contexts. This event will be held over two days: Mar. 7 (Sat) 2026 – Mar. 8 (Sun) 2026, at Tokyo Midtown Atrium (Galleria B1) and Galleria (1F, 2F).
