The HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE Autumn Winter 2024/25 collection “Immersed in the Wilds of Creativity” looks at the exploratory approach behind the brand’s creative process. With this approach, for the first time the brand’s design team engaged in a collaborative project, creative session, with designer/artist Ronan Bouroullec. The design team immersed themselves in the world of Bouroullec’s drawings where they explored elements of color, form, and the movement found in his pen strokes, integrating them into clothes-making. This exhibition looks at the background of the creative session to examine the exchange between the design team and Bouroullec, through exhibits of both drawings and clothes-making. What has become clear is the connections between the two creative fields at play.
