Exploring the relationship between the body and clothing. Viewing the Earth from space. This project between A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) began at the intersection of these two perspectives, each operating at a different scale. In this exhibition A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE explores new possibilities for the clothing of the future by reexamining ISSEY MIYAKE’s philosophy of creation centered on “a piece of cloth,” while bridging the distinct fields of science and design. The exhibition aims to provide a space for visitors to reflect together on new approaches to clothing that respond to environmental and societal challenges.
